A swordsman from the La Veda Republic. In time, Ortiz's marriage produced three children whom he loved and cared for very much. His adventures with his children proved to be a great way for him to train in sword fighting, and his skills evolved to new heights in no time. However, it wasn't until he and his family faced a powerful demon during the conclusion of their adventures that he realized what the true meaning of fencing was. Just as he had risked his life to protect his family, he finally learned that "the art of the blade was meant to protect others," as the La Veda fencing arts had tried to teach him long ago.
